CFO Panel Discussion
Topic: Finance Digital Transformation (Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in Finance).
The keynote address will be in the form of a panel discussion. The following are scheduled to appear to share their thoughts and experiences with digital transformation:
Special Welcome Message from Lt. Governor Jon Husted: As founder and first Director of InnovateOhio, Jon has a strong focus on technology and innovation that transforms services and saves money for businesses and taxpayers of the State of Ohio.
Panel Members:
Erik Asgeirsson, President and CEO of CPA.com: Erik has led CPA.com, a subsidiary of the AICPA, for 15 years. He is viewed as a leading change agent for technology adoption across the accounting spectrum. For the past decade, his focus has been on cloud computing solutions and more recently on artificial intelligence.
Jeff Bissell, Corporate Treasurer (previously CFO) at NMG Aerospace: NMG Aerospace (“NMG”) is a $110 million annual revenue, family-owned aerospace manufacturing company, headquartered in Stow, Ohio. Jeff has always been on the leading edge of technology and implemented an A/P system through NMG’s ERP system that automates the scanning and matching of supplier invoices.
Naveed Iqbal, PhD, CEO and Founder of Dolr: Naveed founded Dolr, A FinTech student loan repayment platform that is using AI in its business model and strategies. As well as being an executive/owner, he is also a mathematician, data scientist and has a breadth of experience with evaluating strategy and the implications of incorporating AI into a business model.
