The keynote address will be in the form of a panel discussion. The following are scheduled to appear to share their thoughts on M&A demand and projections for 2021.

Tom Zucker, President and Founder of EdgePoint Capital 

Tom is the President and Founder of EdgePoint Capital, a boutique investment banking firm based in Cleveland. Since EdgePoint’sfounding in 2000, Edge Point has completed more than 275 domestic and international middle market M&A transactions totaling more than $1 billion in transaction value.

Robert A. Ross is the Chair of Benesch’s Global Transaction Group and Vice Chair of Benesch’s Private Equity Group. He provides counsel to public and private companies involved in complex acquisitions, mergers and divestitures throughout the United States and worldwide.

A case study panel discussion. Kip Irle will outline an actual case involving the sale and purchase of a company that occurred during the pandemic. The audience will have the opportunity to hear different approaches to the transaction valuation, including data analytics, actuarial, due diligence and other valuation techniques. In addition, each panelist will offer their expertise when it comes to the concepts of valuing companies.
